WAITLIST POLICY

Online events

For online events, any players that have not submitted their decklists by the required time will be dropped from the event.

Players may initially join the automatic waitlist managed by Tixr. In the event that a player cancels their tickets leading up to the event, Tixr will automatically process the top player on the waitlist (determined by the order in which they joined it).

2 days before the event, the Tixr waitlist closes and all players are removed from it. The Tournament Organizer will retain a copy of the waitlist.

Following the designated decklist submission deadline, once players have been dropped from the event, Tournament Organizers will notify players on the waitlist of any available slots in the order in which they joined the waitlist. Included in this notification, these players will be given instructions, including any applicable deadlines, to be able to fill any remaining slots.

The morning of the tournament, in the event that slots remain available, the TO may give players the chance to purchase these final slots via a "Last Minute Waitlist" ticket purchase link. This Last Minute Waitlist does not prioritize those who joined the Tixr waitlist leading up to the event.

Offline events

For offline events, any players that have not submitted their deck lists by the required time will receive a Round 1 loss.

If players still have not submitted their deck list by end of check in (see your player emails for this time) they will be dropped from the tournament.

Waitlist processing for offline events will be done via Random Selection. Players are not to line up on site to enter the waitlist.

In order to join the day-of waitlist for an offline tournament, players may report to the designated area on-site (see onsite signage) to be added into an Instant Store Local tournament in TCG+. At this time, your status in TCG+ will show as "Participating in Tournament" in the Instant Store Local. This means that you are participating in the waitlist, not that you have been entered into the tournament. Players should have their deck list created in TCG+ prior to joining the waitlist.

Following the end of check-in, once players have been dropped, a random selection done through TCG+ of those players who entered the Instant Store Local will be processed to fill any remaining slots.

Once selected, these players will be added into the Main Event with a status of "Waiting List" so that they can submit their deck list for the Main Event. All players must have their deck list submitted in the Main Event by the time that they purchase their ticket or they will lose their space.

If selected, players will receive a notification in TCG+ with instructions on how to purchase their ticket to enter the tournament (including how long they have to report to the designated area).
